Mellowing the Yellow

Hi all. Yesterday we took Calla in for her first pediatric appointment. She weighed a little less than her birth weight, which is to be expected. Her doctor said that she looked great overall, with the exception of a little jaundice. They checked her bilirubin in the office yesterday, and it came back pretty high, so they sent us to the lab again this morning to have it re-checked. It is down a little from yesterday, which means that the jaundice has probably peaked and is on the way down, according to Calla's doc. Anyway, all appears to be well with her, and she won't have to go back for another week.
