This Friday morning finds Calla very happy that the Cubs have managed to reach a tie for 1st place in the NL Central! Since she is so new to the world, she thinks that the Cubs have always played like they have recently. We'll let her find out the truth in her own time. It's like Santa: a beautiful fib. [My apologies if you still thought there was an actual, living Santa. It's a personification of good will, and it's time you knew.]
Anyway, we are doing great here. Our appointment on Wednesday went well. Calla is now barely, nearly imperceptibly yellow, and she has returned to her birth weight!! Several weeks ago I had no idea that these were things to get excited about, but here we are.
Mostly, this is a photo post, as things are just kind of clicking along here at Calla's house.
So, without further rambling delays...
