As of Wednesday, Calla is now 3 weeks old. In some ways, it seems like longer than that (especially at about 3am), but really it seems to be flying by. We have been having fun experimenting with different diaper brands (wheeeeeee), which really passes the time.
In the last week, Kathy and Calla have been taking more frequent walks around the neighborhood. We live in an area where there are several parks within easy walking distance, which will be even more fun later as Calla becomes ambulatory. Right now, it's pretty much Kathy or me doing all the walking (and Chloe... can't leave out Chloe). It has been raining here for the last few days, which has kept us in the house, but maybe it will dry up soon and we can get outside a bit more in the evenings.
August is going to be a busy month for us! We have several wedding type events to attend (which Calla has skipped, so far). Later in the month, our friend Sophie is coming to visit from France and then my folks are coming up to meet Calla! She is very excited.
