Calla's 12th month

Calla is now in her 12 month and is rapidly approaching her first birthday! She is doing well in all regards. She scoots prodigiously, pulls up on everything, and will walk for miles holding on to Daddy's fingers. Calla made me a nice gift for Father's Day, somehow figuring out how to crop a photo of her and me to fit in a nice little frame. She is so smart.

All else is going well here. We have a contract on our townhome here in Chicagoland and are planning a trip soon to find a new place in Carbondale. The date for the movers is all set (and they are packing us, thank goodness), so we just need to find a new place to stay for a few transition weeks. I contacted my old landlord and she promised to find us a place, so no worries.

OK, that's really all that's going on, except... Kathy's sister Carolyn gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Julia Liv. We are very proud of both Carolyn and Julia, as well as Daddy Brian, who is undoubtedly working the hardest of anyone (solidarity, brother).
