Long delay? No problem: we'll just throw some pictures at them.

Hello, all. We are doing fine here. Updates have been slow, though, as I (J) have been traveling for work a bit, which takes up even more time than the usual hustle and/or bustle.

Calla had her 4 month "well-child" visit this past week and got her second round of shots. She was sleepy and a bit grumpy for a few days (with a mild fever), but she is fine now and enjoyed her 1st Thanksgiving, I think. At the visit, we found out that Calla is now 12lbs, 2 oz and is 25 1/4 inches tall! She is still a lightweight compared with other babies, but she is longer than most and has a normal head circumference, so the pediatrician says she will likely be tall and thin. Most importantly, she is healthy and doing great! Calla is quite vocal now and "talks" nearly all the time. She smiles, coos, and plays with her toes. Recently, she has begun to show signs that she is starting to teeth (like drooling constantly and gnawing on everything).

Calla has established a pretty regular sleep schedule now. She wants to start heading to bed around 7pm and is asleep by 8:30, at the latest. She then routinely sleeps until around 4-5am, when she wants to be fed. After that, she will often fall back asleep until 7 or 7:30am.

Here are lots of pictures!

Is that War and Peace? No, it's that hungry caterpillar book. Close, though.

That little hand is getting bigger!

She's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Calla was a tiger for Halloween. Grrrr!

Just a cute picture
