T minus 8 weeks and counting

Well, so much for posting more often. A lot has happened since the last post, including our 1 yr wedding anniversary! We (the three of us) took a tour of our favorite place to hang out in Chicago: Wrigley Field. The tour was two hours long and covered all the places in Wrigley that you have to have a pass to get into during a game. Here is a picture of us out on the field!



We are still getting ready around here for Our Girl to arrive. Her room is coming together more and more. We have picked up a few items off of Craigslist and at yard sales, which has been wonderful. So far we have scored a "pack and play" and a "ring sling," to name two items.

We had new counters installed in the kitchen last week and had the outside of the house painted yesterday so that Our Girl won't be bothered by sawing, hammering, scraping, and ladder noises when she's trying to sleep. The roof is the next project.

Kathy is doing well, barring a few aches and pains in her back and some swollen ankle action. Overall, she has been cruising along with few complaints so far.

Our Girl is sill very active. She now seems to move in all areas of Kathy's belly at the same time. She does a lot of rolling around, kicking, and punching, which can all be seen through K's shirt. I've already signed her (Our Girl) up for Karate lessons.
