The verdict is in!
Today was our 20 week ultrasound, and the evidence is quite clear: we are going to have a girl! She was quite shy today, making it very hard for the ultrasound technician to get good pictures, but she eventually shifted enough to get a good look and... yep.. she's a girl. As I said, she was sleepy and wouldn't pose for pictures very well, but here is a shot of her face, from an angle (click to enlarge):

All else is well, and we may have some new pictures in a few weeks as we will need another ultrasound due to her stubbornness (like her... aunt Jeri).
Here is another nice shot of her foot, which may or may not possess the typical "Cheatwood toes," which are a bit... opposable (the gap between the large toe and 2nd toe are similar to her father's). I (Joe) think it's endearing.

In short, it was a great day. More info later!

Awesome. As a daddy to a little girl myself, I can highly recommend it. Thanks for letting everyone know!

Hooray! A little girl! And she has fabulous, adorable, and very smart toes. My "little" (26-year-old) girl has her daddy's feet, too...and they've taken her far.
Blessings on your heads and hearts!

Joe, that's wonderful! Chloe was shy during her ultrasound too; we are hoping this means that she will be demure and chaste through her adolescence. ;)
You are going to be a great big sucker for your little girl's doe eyes, mischievous grin, and innocent little pout! Mike thought he would be able to defy the inevitable, but he's completely succumbed to her powers... Don't try to fight it, just go with it!
Congratulations! Are you thinking of names yet???
A little girl! Finally a girl to break-up the run of boys amongst the Cheatwood grandkids. She'll be adored and cherished.
Oh, the toes, gotta love toes that can pick up large objects, so helpful. Whaddya mean, "stubborn like her aunt Jeri"!
Aw, congratulations! I'm so happy for you guys.
