Dateline: Week 15

OK, it's time for a pregnancy update!

Kathy and baby are well, and he or she is already acing all of the tests, which I hope will continue through High School to aid with college funding, as I'm planning on spending all of our money on advancing television technology ("Wow! A 300" plasma! Wait, do we have a wall that big? No problem, we'll just take out the bedroom"). Anyway, Kathy is still feeling a bit ill on and off during the day. And night. And sometimes in the morning. I, however, feel fine still, in case anyone is worried.

We are starting to get a bit more serious about planning for choosing things like the baby's room equipment (the crib HAS TO lower with one hand, etc.), car seat (if consumer reports actually tested those things at TWICE the speed they thought they did and two actually passed, that's just more reason to buy them, not
apologize for the study), and Nintendo Wii gaming system (for, uh, hand-eye coordination).

Dear Joe and Kathy,
So glad to hear that everything is going well. Sorry to hear that Kathy is going through the dreadful morning, afternoon, and sometimes night sickness. Isn't funny how guys like to call baby stuff "equipment". That is probably the best way to describe all of the stuff you need. Joe I wouldn't hold your breath for that 300" TV. Oh and Eric heard about that car seat study too he said hey forget those other car seats give me the one that faired the best at 70+ mph. We just had two families from our church have baby girls 5 days apart and I got to hold both of them. I forget with my two burly energetic boys how fragile and precious little babies are. We'll be thinking about you lots as you continue to look forward to the birth of your baby. Love Stephanie, Eric, Joshua, and Micah Buhman

Joe,

Your style made this alert reader want to read Dave Barry again. Good stuff, man. Glad everything is going well. We will continue to pray for you (plural) and the young'in.

J and K and Baby,

I am glad to see the natural nesting activities taking place... try to have fun with it as much as possible, even though it is work to set up for the little one. I hope Kathy begins to feel better soon!

Don't feel bashful in asking for any help from either of Catrina or myself.

Look forward to seeing you guys, maybe we can have you guys over in the next couple months!
